Once in a while, we all have to put down our serious reading glasses, our textbooks, our ITAs, our serious novels that are filled with too much adjectives describing each scenery and instead... pick up some mindless junk food of books to give your brain some...well... junk. And it's addicting! 

I used to be all over the magazine scene... but after noticing how much money I was shelling out for my weekly fix, I quit that addiction and started my current tacky biography addiction. 

One benefit of this new addiction is that a new book only comes out a couple of times a year... which saves me a lot of dough compared to those weekly subscriptions. However, one drawback is the embarrassment that I suffer each time I am shopping for one of these books. It's almost an unwritten law that you do not ask the bookstore employee to help you locate the

"...uh......new book by.....ummmm.....Brraanndi....Glan......". I suffered this embarrassment today. 

Now that the embarrassment is over (phewww), there is nothing more relaxing than reading a good piece of junk with hot tea :)
