My Complex Relationship with Worcestershire Sauce

I don't remember exactly how my relationship with worcestershire sauce started. If I had to guess, it was probably when I was a kid still living in Beijing. I remember that my parents used to call this "spicy soya sauce" as it was known in parts of Asia. Since it was called that, I guess it was used as a replacement for anything that you can eat with soya sauce... which is pretty much any Asian dish.

I am a huge fan of worcestershire sauce... but unlike most people, I don't put this on my meats or cheeses. This stuff goes straight into my fried eggs (over hard). It cracks me up everytime I say over hard... especially when I have to say it out loud to a waiter when ordering my breakfast. I will literately refuse to eat fried eggs without worcestershire sauce! Delicious! I know some people will think this is a gross combination... just like how I think eggs and ketchup is a gross combination.

Excited and really looking forward to the next several days - Chinese new years & Valentine's :) xoxo
